2026 WMU Annual Meeting "Meant for Mission"
You did not choose Me, but I chose you and appointed you that you should go and bear fruit, and that your fruit should remain, that whatever you ask the Father in My name He may give you. These things I command you, that you love one another. --John 15:16-17

About the event
We are pleased and excited to welcome and introduce our keynote speaker - Colleen Smith
Colleen Smith is the Founder and Executive Director of The Restoration House, a Christ-centered nonprofit dedicated to walking alongside women as they rebuild their lives after exploitation, addiction, and trauma, under the banner “Rewriting Stories. Rebuilding Lives.”
Colleen’s passion for this work is deeply personal. Having experienced brokenness, addiction, and restoration in her own life, she knows firsthand the power of being seen, loved, and reminded that your hardest chapter does not have to be the end of your story.
Today, Colleen uses her story and her faith to advocate for women who are often overlooked, helping create pathways toward safety, healing, community, and lasting restoration. She believes deeply in the power of showing up, building relationships, and creating spaces where women can rediscover their God-given worth and begin to dream again.
Colleen lives in the Baltimore area and is actively involved at Freedom Church Baltimore. At the heart of everything she does is a simple belief: God still restores what feels lost, and no story is beyond His reach.
