The Delmarva Peninsula, also known as the Eastern Shore, is a peninsula that contains territory from three states: Delaware, Maryland, and Virginia.

Rapidly developing, the Eastern Shore is probably best known for its agriculture and seafood industries, resort and retirement living, wildlife, and water fowl.

The Eastern Baptist Association (EBA), serves Queen Anne County, Maryland to the Virginia state line and the lower third of Sussex County, Delaware. The city of Salisbury, Maryland is considered the local home of the EBA.

Keith Myer

Interim Director

Keith has been actively involved in church ministry for over twenty-five years. After coming to Christ, he got hooked on helping people have ‘light bulb’ moments of realization about Jesus. He connecting people to their faith using his passion and excitement about normal things (like Dunkin Donuts coffee, Darth Vader, and the Green Bay Packers) and connecting them to spiritual things.

Keith is married to his high school sweetheart, Nancy, and they have been blessed with four amazing boys: Sam, Jack, Max, and Hank. He’s been the pastor of Harvest since 2007 and has been serving as the interim director of the Eastern Baptist Association since 2018. He has worked on mission teams in Belize, Honduras, Ecuador, and Zambia. He holds a Masters of Divinity in Pastoral Leadership from Columbia International University and a Masters in Business Administration from Liberty University.


Robin Boone

Ministry Assistant

Robin has served the EBA as Ministry Assistant since 2014. She has 2 children, a son-in-law and an awesome grandson. She lives on the Eastern Shore with her son, Daniel, and their amazing dog, Tebow.


Larry Davis

Church Revitalization

Larry is an Eastern Shore native (Sharptown) and has been married for 24 years to his high school sweetheart Susan. They have 2 children: Britney and Seth. Larry worked as an Engineer for 10 years before he committed to full-time ministry in 2003. He has a Bachelor of Arts in Religion from Luther Rice University and a MA in Ethical Leadership from Claremont Lincoln University.

He loves investing in other leaders and believes that God has placed dreams in the deep wells of all of our souls. Great leaders draw out those dreams with compassion, wisdom and understanding. In his free time he enjoys cycling and spending time four-wheeling on the beach with his family and friends. God brought Larry to Grace Church in Seaford, Delaware to lead the through a season of revitalization in order to reach a whole new generation of families in the Seaford Area.


Daryl McCready

Pastor Daryl McCready is the founding pastor of SonRise Church. He has lived on the Eastern Shore of Maryland his whole life and currently lives in Berlin with his wife Traci and has three children Adam, Meg and Mandi.

He is a second generation pastor and grew up in the church. After graduating High School, He served in the United States Army and on the Ocean Pines Police force for more than thirteen years.
In 2002 Daryl left police work to plant SonRise church with a core group of 13 other adults. The church launched on October 6th, 2002 in the Ocean Downs Racetrack in Berlin and now is located at their 14 acre campus on Main Street and Route 50 in Berlin.

Pastor Daryl also serves as a church planting coach and SonRise Church helped to support and plant 20 other churches since its beginning in 2002. In addition, in 2020 SonRise crossed the mark of having shared in more than 1,000 people’s decision to surrender their lives to Jesus Christ by faith and more than 1,000 baptisms!

SonRise is well known for its community involvement, school partnership, and outreach within their community and has received numerous awards and recognitions from the school board, community, and state as result.


Keith Hammer

Keith has served as the Executive Pastor of SonRise Church in Berlin, MD, since August of 2016.
Previously, Keith served for 2 years as a Strategist for Church Strengthening and Equipping for the Baptist Convention of Maryland/Delaware and for 14 years as the Executive Pastor at Riva Trace Baptist Church in Davidsonville, MD, just outside of Annapolis

In addition, Keith serves as a Walk-Thru-the-Bible Instructor, a Lead Like Jesus facilitator, a facilitator for StratOp for Churches, and as a Pastoral/Ministry Leadership Coach.

Keith and his wife Janice have three children and 6 grandchildren. Keith is an honors graduate of the College of William & Mary in Virginia where he received his Bachelors degree in Business Administration with post-graduate work at the Executive Program of the University of Virginia’s Darden School of Business. He more recently earned a Certificate in Biblical Studies from Capitol Bible Seminary and his Master of Divinity degree from Rockbridge Seminary.

Keith was called into full-time ministry after spending more than 15 years in Corporate America where he spent the last 5 years as a Vice President and Chief Information Officer for 2 different retail companies. Keith spent the longest period of time (11 years) with Circuit City Stores at their Corporate Headquarters in Richmond, Virginia, where he was part of their Executive Management Team as the Director of Corporate Systems during their period of high growth.


Bruce Glisson

Dr. Bruce C. Glisson has served as the Executive Pastor of Allen Memorial Baptist Church in Salisbury, MD, since March of 2011. Previously, he served for 2 years as Senior Pastor of Immanuel Baptist Church in Salisbury, MD. Before that, Bruce served as Senior Pastor of First Baptist Westernport in Westernport, MD for 5 years. He served as a student pastor for 10 years before becoming a Senior Pastor.

In addition, Bruce served on the mission field in Argentina as a Journeyman with the International Mission Board.

Bruce is a native of Maryland, growing up in Prince George’s County. He and his wife Jancy have one son, Timothy. Bruce holds a Masters of Divinity from The Southern Baptist Theological Seminary, and a Doctor of Ministry from Southeastern Baptist Theological Seminary.
