Pastor Daryl McCready is the founding pastor of SonRise Church. He has lived on the Eastern Shore of Maryland his whole life and currently lives in Berlin with his wife Traci and has three children Adam, Meg, and Mandi. He is a second generation pastor and grew up in the church. After graduating High School, He served in the United States Army and on the Ocean Pines Police force for more than thirteen years. In 2002 Daryl left police work to plant SonRise church with a core group of 13 other adults. The church launched on October 6th, 2002 in the Ocean Downs Racetrack in Berlin and now is located at their 14 acre campus on Main Street and Route 50 in Berlin. Pastor Daryl also serves as a church planting coach and SonRise Church helped to support and plant 20 other churches since its beginning in 2002. In addition, in 2020 SonRise crossed the mark of having shared in more than 1,000 people’s decision to surrender their lives to Jesus Christ by faith and more than 1,000 baptisms! SonRise is well known for its community involvement, school partnership, and outreach within their community and has received numerous awards and recognitions from the school board, community, and state as result.

Andrew is the pastor of Immanuel Baptist Church in Salisbury, MD, where he has served since 2011. Andrew spent the first nineteen years of his life in Southern Africa and came to know Christ through the faithful testimony of his missionary parents. Andrew met his wife, Melinda, during college at Ouachita Baptist University in Arkansas. They have been married for over twenty years and are the proud parents of Alena, Josiah, and Tabitha. The family owns a dog, Kenna, who they are training to run obstacle courses and do tricks. Andrew completed his MDiv at B. H. Carroll in Texas and his PhD at SEBTS in North Carolina. Andrew is passionate about history, theology, and missions.

Born in North Carolina, Randall grew up attending a Southern Baptist Church in Raleigh. He was saved and baptized when he was 12. He made a recommitment of his life to Jesus just before his 18th birthday. The LORD called him to full-time ministry in his early 20s while pursuing a career with Chick-Fil-A. Randall met Linda while they were in college. They have been married for 38 years and make their home in Cambridge, Maryland. They have two daughters, Katie Blackmon, who lives in Georgia, and Gracie Ruark with her husband Luke, who live on Maryland’s Eastern Shore. Linda has been an educator in Dorchester and Caroline Counties in Maryland for the past 25 years. His twin brother, Russell, is a pastor of a Southern Baptist Church in North Carolina. Randall obtained his Bachelor of Arts degree from North Carolina State University and Master of Divinity Degree from Southeastern Baptist Theological Seminary. He has served three churches as pastor in the past 34 years. He is the founding pastor of Faith Baptist Fellowship and is a trustee of Guidestone Financial Resources of the Southern Baptist Convention. He enjoys playing the piano and singing in the church’s Southern Gospel Trio “One Day Closer”. His life Scripture verse is Matthew 6:33 – “Seek ye first the kingdom of God and His righteousness, and all these things shall be added unto you.”

I was born and raised on the Eastern Shore. I am married to my beautiful wife, Shannon, and we have 2 amazing boys, Carter (15) and Noah (11). I am a former school teacher, adjunct professor, coach and personal trainer. Over 11 years ago, the Lord called me into full-time pastoring. Since then, I have been apart of several awesome churches. Most recently, by the grace of God, we planted Compass Church Salisbury in March of 2021. We have seen people get saved, baptized and live on mission as we strive to “point people to Jesus”. In October of this 2023, Compass Church Salisbury will be planting another church - Compass Church Pocomoke….I enjoy exercising, reading, sports, traveling and spending time with my wife and kids.

Dr. Bruce C. Glisson has served as the Executive Pastor of Allen Memorial Baptist Church in Salisbury, MD, since March of 2011. Previously, he served for 2 years as Senior Pastor of Immanuel Baptist Church in Salisbury, MD. Before that, Bruce served as Senior Pastor of First Baptist Westernport in Westernport, MD for 5 years. He served as a student pastor for 10 years before becoming a Senior Pastor. In addition, Bruce served on the mission field in Argentina as a Journeyman with the International Mission Board. Bruce is a native of Maryland, growing up in Prince George’s County. He and his wife Jancy have one son, Timothy. Bruce holds a Masters of Divinity from The Southern Baptist Theological Seminary, and a Doctor of Ministry from Southeastern Baptist Theological Seminary.
